Story Synopsis & Background

Draco Malfoy has always known how to be a Malfoy. What she does not know, at least not yet, is who she might be when nobody is watching. Years later, after war, an uneasy exile, and a quiet life carefully built far from Britain, Draco finds herself face to face with the last person she expected to see: Harry Potter.

"'You haven't changed at all, Potter,' she murmured, leaning against the café balustrade under the Mediterranean dusk, tea untouched. 'Still looking for dragons to slay.' Harry looked across the small iron table, his eyes tracing the quiet confidence in her posture. 'I'm not looking for dragons, Malfoy. I was just hoping to find you.'"
