Story Synopsis & Background

Harry Potter boards the Hogwarts Express hoping to find somewhere he belongs. He finds his very first friend in Draco Malfoy—a sharp-tongued, haughty girl who shares his compartment before learning his famous name. Raised to uphold Slytherin supremacy, Draco's entire world upends when the Sorting Hat shouts Gryffindor.

"The Sorting Hat barely touched the silver crown of her hair before shouting to the rafters: 'GRYFFINDOR!' Silence plunged the Great Hall like an ice bath. At the Slytherin table, Lucius Malfoy's allies froze. Slowly, Draco slid down from the stool, chin trembling, and marched directly toward Harry with a furious, defiant scowl.
