Mattheo Riddle & The Fanon “Slytherin Boys” Phenomenon
The Non-Canon Dark Heir Who Broke TikTok: From Wattpad Viral Sensation to Multi-Billion-View Fandom Lore
Mattheo Riddle represents the absolute zenith of grassroots algorithmic fandom: a character completely absent from official Harry Potter books and movies, created as an Original Character (OC) on Wattpad, who exploded onto TikTok to amass tens of billions of views. Portrayed as the brooding, curly-haired son of Voldemort, Mattheo codified the "Slytherin Boys" dark academia phenomenon that laid the cultural runway for Malfoid.
✦Fandom Origin & Meme Lore
Why It Trends Across the Internet
Mattheo Riddle proves that fandom imagination can out-create canon studios. By giving internet audiences an unapologetically dark, intense, and aesthetically mesmerizing anti-hero unburdened by twenty-year-old canon plotlines, TikTok creators forged their own shared interactive dark romance universe.

Signature Dynamics with Malfoid
Mattheo leans into the common room shadows mocking Malfoid's aristocratic airs, only for Malfoid to brandish her wand and remind him that House Malfoy bends to nobody.
The moment outside forces attempt to harm Draconia or the common room, Mattheo's wand emits devastating curses without a shred of hesitation.
Late-night dungeon study sessions where Mattheo and Malfoid silently trade ancient dark curse books across black mahogany tables without saying a word.
